Board of Directors

Our board of directors is a diverse group of students across the globe who come together for a great cause. Each director is assigned work according to their role, accompanied by quarterly Zoom meetings and monthly check-ins. We are so grateful for our board since they all generously volunteer their time to support Share a Smile Initiative. Our directors play a huge role in this organization - whether it be conducting interviews, consistently posting on social media, or applying for community grants. Currently, our Board of Directors is finalized, but we are always looking for chapter presidents or volunteers to lead students in their own community. Explore our volunteer page for more information.

Advisory Board

Finally, the fundamental support of our organization - the senior advisory board. They are professionals in several corporate fields and lend their valuable time so we are able to learn from their experiences and expertise. No matter how busy their schedules are, they always take the time out to assist us in whatever way possible. Whether it be for planning the next event, applying for a grant, or brainstorming new ventures, our advisory board is constantly contributing ideas to further our nonprofit. To briefly introduce our main advisors; Brenda Moncla (left) is a retired Senior VP and Director of Enterprise Information Management at PNC Bank and Onkar Deshmukh (right) is a Program Manager at TATA Consultancy Services. We are always grateful for their constant support and weekly check-ins.
